Marshall Diel & Myers Limited is seeking a motivated Associate to join its Property & Estates Team with experience in private client, probate, estate administration and trust matters. The successful candidate will be capable of independently managing their caseload with minimal supervision, advising clients in respect of related disputes and assisting litigation attorneys with more complex and/or related litigation matters. Key responsibilities include managing probate and estate administration from commencement to conclusion, drafting estate planning documents, advising executors and beneficiaries, and handling trust disputes.
Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience and be admitted or eligible to practise at the Bermuda Bar. Experience in private client, probate and estate administration work is required. Candidates must demonstrate a strong ability to independently manage routine probate and private client matters with minimal supervision. Experience in contentious trust and estate litigation, advocacy and business development is an asset. Requires references, evidence of qualifications and a clean criminal background.
