State House Trust Company Ltd., Cox Hallett Wilkinson’s trust business, is seeking a full-time Trust Accountant. Employed by Globe Management Services Ltd. and reporting to the Trust Officer, the successful candidate will take primary responsibility for trust accounting while providing broader support across the Finance and Trust functions. Main responsibilities include maintaining and reconciling trust accounts in compliance with Bermuda regulatory requirements, preparing financial statements and tax returns, ensuring proper allocation of trust funds, assisting in audits, and processing payments and journals. You will also support the Trust Officer with KYC records and the Head of Finance with management accounts and reconciliations.

Requirements

Knowledge of computerized accounting software (ideally Viewpoint and Xero); Part-qualified accountant, AAT qualified, accounting degree holder, or qualified by relevant experience; Exceptional attention to detail; Good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, particularly Excel; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work collaboratively in a small team; Flexibility to work additional hours during year-end reporting period.
