Marshall Diel & Myers Limited is seeking a motivated Associate to join their Civil and Commercial Litigation & Advice team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in litigation and dispute resolution, including providing legal advice and representing clients in various civil and commercial legal matters. Key responsibilities include representing clients in litigation matters, providing legal advice and support, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing/presenting cases in court.
Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years' PQE and be admitted or eligible to practice at the Bermuda Bar. Experience working in a litigation/dispute resolution team in a law firm environment is required. Experience in civil and commercial litigation including complex high value commercial litigation, insolvency, bankruptcy, trust disputes, employment disputes, property litigation, re(insurance) claims and/or personal injury claims is preferred. Requires strong skills in legal research, drafting, analysis, and communication.
