This role will involve both food and beverage service and bookkeeping duties. The successful candidate will greet customers, ensure quality service when serving ice cream, take and fill customer orders, explain menus, ring up all purchases in a friendly and efficient manner, clean workstations and guest areas, keep inventory stocked, handle cash, remain knowledgeable in ingredients, preparation processes, and specialty flavors, and provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will also manage the financial aspects of food and beverage operations by auditing daily costs, controlling inventory, and helping ensure profitability through strict menu pricing and waste management. Key bookkeeping duties include calculating food and beverage costs, conducting monthly inventory checks, and preparing financial reports to meet budget.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years in a similar role or within a fast paced waitressing environment. A minimum of 2 years prior bookkeeping experience. A positive and professional approach to customer service is essential. Physically fit and able to lift at least 50 lbs. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Ability to multitask and work independently and in a team environment. Clean criminal background and excellent references are required.
