Portfolio Risk Manager

In this role you will: Develop and maintain the HSBC Group and Bermuda Monetary Authority credit portfolio databases required to support portfolio, departmental, and reporting analysis Analyse large volumes of data and information, drawing key themes from this data, and then communicating this as needed in various forms, such as data and credit delinquency information, spot deteriorating credit trends, and key themes from quantitative and qualitative sources Maintain and monitor the Bank's Risk Appetite Statement, as well as developing and conducting stress testing Report and calculate Expected Credit Losses and Loan Impairment Charges, and develop and maintain the Policy for both Synthesise information and develop clear, concise, and robust reader friendly presentation materials for a variety of meetings and audiences Ensure that all financial and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely Proactively monitor the credit portfolio quality of the Bank's investment book via daily monitoring of Financial Institutions sector performance, interacting closely with stakeholders When you join HSBC, you'll enjoy a supportive culture, a highly energised team, and have access to exciting opportunities and benefits, such as: Salary and benefits designed to give you a solid foundation for the present and future Mentoring, coaching, and training to upskill yourself, including world-class learning opportunities Flexible working environment Range of resources to support your mental, physical, and social well-being Opportunities to work internationally, and join a range of Employee Resource Groups Personal data held by HSBC relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with our Privacy Statement, which is available on our website.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar 5 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative risk analytics and business analysis Sound knowledge in Computer User Applications, including Microsoft Office (in particular Excel), and relational databases Excellent analytical and technical skills, with the ability to produce concise and clear, robust analyses of complex data for executive management Solid background/experience within a regulated-banking and/or financial institution environment; detailed knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is essential Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
