Finance Analyst

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst is primarily responsible for accurately processing journal entries in the CITA’s accounting system, preparing daily and monthly bank reconciliations, managing vendor accounts, balance sheet account reconciliations, and assisting the Finance Manager with monthly and annual financial reporting, and the annual audit and budget preparation. Key Duties and Responsibilities include: Process journal entries and maintain the general ledger; Manage vendor accounts and credit card allocations; Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations; Support budget preparation, audits, and financial reporting; Collaborate across departments to provide financial insights.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and audits; Strong knowledge of double-entry accounting and financial systems; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage Intacct is a plus; Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills; Demonstrated ability to work well with others; Demonstrate initiative to resolve problems independently while recognizing when to escalate issues.
