We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual for the position of Vice President (VP), Transaction Operations in our Bermuda office. Reporting directly to the Client Service Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing all day-to-day operational aspects of a large, sophisticated reinsurance portfolio comprising of Insurance Linked Securities companies and segregated account transactions.

Requirements

A minimum of 7 years' experience in the Re/Insurance industry, preferably in the areas of operations, capital management, underwriting, broking, collateral management/treasury, or technical accounting. University degree and/or Reinsurance designation preferred (CPCU, ARe, ACII or other equivalent professional designations preferred). A professional STEP qualification (TEP designation) would also be considered. Experience in reinsurance/property catastrophe broking beneficial. Extensive knowledge of reinsurance and primary insurance standards, practices and principles and knowledge of specific reinsurance contract features. Excellent, professional written and verbal communications skills in client service environment. Proven relationship management and negotiation skills. Enthusiastic and strongly motivated self-starter. Excellent people skills with the ability to manage, coach and develop team members. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with working knowledge of reporting tools (e.g. Power BI or Business Objects is beneficial).
