Assistant Manager, Financial Reporting

Bermuda Commercial Bank Limited ("BCB") is seeking a qualified, dynamic and results-oriented individual to fulfil the role of Assistant Manager, Financial Reporting. This role is responsible for supporting the financial reporting and control processes within BCB's finance function. The successful candidate will possess strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications, experience and skills required: Internationally recognized accounting qualification (CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) with at least 3 years' recent financial reporting experience, ideally in banking or financial services Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience preparing management information, financial statements, and annual reports Proven experience with control frameworks over financial and data reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel; knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. Great Plains, Business Central) preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across functional teams Adaptability, self-motivation, and ability to meet deadlines in an evolving organization
