Based in Bermuda and reporting to the Chief Actuary, Bermuda & US, you will contribute and add value to the Actuarial team and to Hamilton groupwide through leading reserving analysis as well as specific project-based work. Applying your experience in reserving and capital modeling will be crucial to augment the actuarial processes used by our risk and underwriting teams. Key responsibilities include leading the execution of reserving duties, developing management information, applying terms and conditions of reinsurance contracts, and providing actuarial expertise to the business.

Requirements

At or near professional actuarial designation (ACAS, FCAS or equivalent); At least 5 years' experience in a similar actuarial role in the reinsurance industry, primarily focused on reserving; Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate reserving and analytical findings; Experience with programming in VBA, SQL, R and Python; Familiarity with Catastrophe and Risk aggregation models; Ability to productively leverage data and technology.
