The successful incumbent will be responsible for underwriting a diverse portfolio of U.S. and International primary and excess Professional Liability risks, including Directors & Officers (D&O), Lawyers Professional Liability (LPL), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Fiduciary Liability, E&O and related specialty lines. This role will contribute to the expansion and profitability of the Bermuda Professional Liability platform through disciplined underwriting, strong broker & insured relationships, and collaboration across Ascot's global network.

Requirements

Minimum 20 years of Professional Liability underwriting experience (Bermuda, U.S., or London market preferred). Strong technical knowledge of D&O, LPL, EPL, Fiduciary, E&O and related Professional Liability products. Demonstrated experience managing a profitable book of complex business, building a high-caliber team and developing talent. Proved ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders globally to build complimentary product offerings and maximize Ascot's client relationships. Excellent analytical skills, including financial statement review and governance assessment. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
