• Serve as the primary counterparty contact and manage auditor and regulator engagements, while partnering with Operations leaders to define the model reinsurance office through gap analysis, solution implementation, and KPI development.
• Supervise and coach a team in partnership with AVP/VP Operations leaders, fostering a high-performance culture and driving continuous improvement across reinsurance operations.
• Simplify, document, and optimize operational processes and playbooks across teams, while leading project management of additional operational and strategic initiatives.What You Will Have:
• University degree required. An MBA or Graduate Degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant post-qualification experience within re/insurance.
• A relevant professional certification (e.g. CPA, LOMA, Actuarial, Project Management) is preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of reinsurance transaction structures and processes, including deal onboarding from due diligence to closing, operational integration, ongoing treaty administration, settlement processes, and related operational controls.
• Proven experience leading time sensitive client facing projects through to successful execution.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability to look at all matters creatively and with ingenuity.
• Strong project management, business and collaboration skills, with the ability to respond effectively to service needs and operational demands.
• Proven experience successfully leading and managing a team, with a strong track record of liaising across diverse functions and multiple departments.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and respond to changing priorities and work independently.
