Our client is a global provider of life reinsurance solutions. The Actuarial Analyst role, based within the Pricing Team, supports the pricing and ongoing management of annuity related reinsurance business, contributing technical analysis across multiple regions.Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support pricing systems and processes, including reviewing existing approaches and helping develop and implement new solutions.
• Provide technical support to the claims team, including reconciling monthly reinsurance claims, completing monthly liability data cleansing and supporting onboarding of new transactions into administration systems.
• Build strong capability in Excel, Python and AI tools, and help leverage pricing automation platforms.
• Provide actuarial support across the business, including business planning, reporting and ad hoc analysis, and contribute to projects as required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (including presenting) to support effective decision-making and delivery of business objectives.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year relevant actuarial experience (for example, pricing life/annuity business or pensions consulting experience focused on defined benefit plan de-risking and actuarial valuations).
• Part-qualified actuary: successful completion of a minimum of 3 actuarial exams (including exemptions) with an internationally recognised actuarial body; ACIA or ASA is preferred.
• Understanding of individual and bulk purchase annuity business; experience in the UK and/or Canadian market is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel.
