Produce Manager

On behalf of our client, Pronto Ltd., we seek a Produce Manager. The successful candidate will have at least five years extensive work experience in managing grocery operations and produce departments, with extensive knowledge of produce sourcing, procurement, quality control and handling procedures. Responsibilities include managing inventory, overseeing quality control, handling sales and promotions, developing operational policies and procedures, maintaining supplier relationships, and training the produce team.

Requirements

Must have at least five years extensive work experience in managing grocery operations and produce departments; extensive knowledge of produce sourcing, procurement, quality control and handling procedures; proven track record in managing operations and developing teams; excellent negotiation skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
