The Business Performance Manager is responsible for how the Bank understands, measures, and operationalises financial performance across products, clients, and commercial activity. This role owns the Bank's management information engine, translating commercial decisions into financial outcomes and ensuring performance is visible, trusted, and actionable. This is not a statutory or regulatory reporting role. It is focused on delivering decision-grade insight, driving commercial accountability, and building scalable, automated performance management capabilities across the organisation. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will work closely with senior management and front office teams across the Bank. Main Responsibilities: Develop and maintain product and client-level financial performance reporting, including revenue, funds transfer pricing, contribution margins, and cost allocation; Establish and govern consistent methodologies, definitions, and management information frameworks aligned to broader financial reporting; Deliver clear insight into product and client performance and profitability, supporting pricing, portfolio management, and commercial decision making; Develop management information and forecasting for costs associated with commercial activity, ensuring linkage to underlying products, clients, and initiatives; Prepare and enhance internal management reporting, including daily reporting and the monthly CFO pack, with a focus on performance drivers, risks, and outcomes; Support financial evaluation of new initiatives and business opportunities, including profitability, pricing and cost analysis; Develop and maintain financial resource footprint analysis, linking commercial growth to consumption of balance sheet and funding, systems and third party services as well as operational capacity Maintain and support key financial models, including ECL, stress testing, and scenario analysis, ensuring appropriate governance and documentation for policies, overlay and management judgment; Support the execution of core FP&A processes, including forecasting, variance analysis, and performance tracking, while improving efficiency and control through data-driven solutions Use database centric architectures (Databricks/SQL based models) to embed controlled and automated workflows within finance processes; Leverage LLMs to support variance analysis, reconciliation narratives and accelerate model development
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; Professional qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA,CFA or equivalent); Minimum of Five years' work experience in banking or financial services, with exposure to risk management, financial planning and analysis, management reporting, or commercial finance; Experience in developing or working with product or client-level financial analysis and reporting frameworks; Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights; Experience working with data-driven environments or financial systems is desirable; Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across the organisation; Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment; Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in data tools or reporting platforms considered an advantage.
