Wilton Re is an industry leader in the life (re)insurance space, specializing in the acquisition of in force life insurance and annuities. Wilton Re Bermuda is seeking a high-performing qualified Accountant. The role is a high visibility role designed for a finance leader who is an expert in US GAAP and Bermuda statutory financial reporting and accounting. This position will own the accurate and timely production of financial management information, with the ability to concisely report those results to the Board, while ensuring adherence to the latest US GAAP and Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) requirements.

Requirements

5-10 years of life (re)insurance accounting experience; Strong hands-on technical expertise applying US GAAP (including LDTI) and Bermuda statutory reporting requirements; Proven technical proficiency in accounting for complex life insurance and reinsurance transactions; University degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant numeric field; CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting designation.
