On behalf of our client, Watermill Ltd., we are seeking a reliable, hands-on individual to provide gardening / landscaping support and general maintenance across three properties. This is a full-time position with flexible, variable hours - the working week will shift depending on seasonal needs, property demands, and emergencies (particularly during hurricane season), so we're looking for someone adaptable who can respond as priorities change.

Key Responsibilities:

Regular gardening and grounds upkeep across all three properties (planting, pruning, mowing, weeding, irrigation).
General property maintenance and odd jobs as they arise (for example painting, maintenance of cedar doors, gates etc.).
Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and minor repairs.
Hurricane preparedness: securing outdoor furniture and equipment, boarding or securing properties, and post-storm cleanup and debris removal.
Flagging larger repair issues to be addressed by specialist contractors.

Requirements

A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a similar role, with a demonstrated track record in landscaping, gardening, and general grounds maintenance.
Working knowledge of basic home maintenance, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including at short notice ahead of or after severe weather.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage time across multiple sites.
Valid driver's license (transport provided).
Hours: Full-time; exact schedule will vary week to week based on property needs and seasonal demands (increased hours expected during hurricane season prep and recovery).
