Reporting to the Miles-To-Go Retail Manager, the Barista is an essential member of our customer experience team, creating handcrafted beverages and providing warm, attentive service that reflects our store’s upscale and welcoming atmosphere. This role works across both the Café and Smoothie Bar, preparing specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, and related offerings to the highest standards, while ensuring the service areas are inviting, organized, and always well-stocked. The Barista serves as both a skilled beverage maker and a customer ambassador, ensuring that every interaction leaves guests feeling cared for and appreciated.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Previous barista or specialty beverage experience preferred; a passion for coffee, smoothies and customer service is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create a friendly, welcoming environment. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting. A polished, professional approach with a genuine enthusiasm for serving others. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends. Ability to stand for extended periods. Comfortable with frequent lifting, bending, and moving of items up to 25 lbs.
