Produce Manager

Job Type: Permanent

with a minimum of 5 years-experience in all aspects of produce management including ordering, costing, pricing, off-loading containers – including lifting 50+ lbs cases, management and scheduling of staff, assuring food and work safety, merchandising and shelf replenishment. You should have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a challenging and physically demanding retail environment. Applicant must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products, specifically Microsoft Excel. The ability to display produce creatively is essential. An ability to function effectively as a leader of a team is a must. Applicants must be hard working and self-motivated. This position requires the best customer service skills and the applicant must be courteous and friendly. The successful applicant will be required to work on some Sundays and public holidays.
