The Cottage Ltd. requires a Jr sous chef with 2 years’ experience as a senior chef or similar. Applicants must possess a Culinary Certificate and be experienced in working all aspects of the kitchen. Responsibilities include ensuring quality preparation and proper handling/storage of all food and equipment in accordance with standards, knowledge of sanitation practices, quality control & prep duties, ability to handle complex cooking assignments, working all stations, and menu & recipe costing development. Fluency in English – written & verbal is required, as well as the ability to work split shifts, weekends, evenings & public holidays.

Requirements

2 years’ experience as senior chef or similar, Culinary Certificate, two written employment references, knowledge of sanitation practices, quality control & prep duties, ability to handle complex cooking assignments, able to work all stations, menu & recipe costing development, fluent in English – written & verbal.
