The Commis Chef/Chef de Partie will oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals in the restaurant. This position will report to the Executive Chef.

Requirements

The successful candidate must hold a Diploma or Certificate from a recognized culinary school and at least two (2) years’ experience working in all areas of a busy medium-sized restaurant kitchen. Knowledge of Food Hygiene is a must. All applicants must have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet restaurant standards. Based on the nature of these positions and they are positions of trust; a police certificate is required. A proven record, substantiated with two (2) employment references is required. Candidates must be prepared to work shifts, extended hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
