We're looking for an experienced Chef / House Manager to oversee an historic, high-profile residence in Bermuda - running the kitchen, managing the household, and coordinating events for VIP guests, including high-ranking officials. The ideal candidate is organized, detail and customer service-oriented, and equally comfortable in the kitchen and managing a home. Responsibilities include ensuring the home and property are well maintained, supervising contractors, procuring food and beverage, preparing meals, and planning representational engagements.

Requirements

Experience preparing fine dining cuisine
Experience supervising employees and contractors, including managing a kitchen
Excellent knowledge of food safety, including HACCP
Strong organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills
Able to stand, bend, lift, and carry household items as needed
Ability to take initiative and work independently
5 years of relevant experience or bachelor's degree in culinary arts
Proficient in menu development, purchasing, and inventory
Valid Bermuda Driving License required
Background checks and drug testing required
