Ocean Tree Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join its growing team in Bermuda as Head of Risk and Compliance. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Lead, develop, and oversee the company's risk and compliance framework to ensure adherence to Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) regulations, AML/ ATF laws, and all applicable offshore jurisdiction requirements Design, implement, and continuously enhance compliance and risk management policies, procedures, and controls across the organization. Conduct and supervise periodic internal reviews, audits, and risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and identify areas for improvement. Manage regulatory relationships, including the preparation, review, and timely submission of all filings, reports, and notifications to the BMA and other relevant authorities. Provide expert guidance to the Board and senior management on risk and compliance matters, including emerging regulatory changes and industry best practices. Oversee and ensure full compliance with Client KYC/AML due diligence requirements, including high-risk client reviews, escalations, and approval processes. Lead the monitoring and investigation of compliance issues, ensuring timely resolution, documentation, and reporting. Supervise the effective use and management of CRM and compliance systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity Deliver training and awareness programs to staff on risk and compliance responsibilities. Act as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), Compliance Officer and Data Privacy Officer as required. Oversee the systematic filing, secure storage, and accessibility of all compliance and risk-related documents. Handle ad hoc duties and special projects in support of corporate governance and strategic objective. Candidate Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' senior compliance and risk management experience within financial services, preferably in Bermuda or another offshore jurisdiction. Hold a recognized compliance qualification (e.g., ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of Bermuda's AML/ATF regulations, BMA requirements, and other relevant international regulatory frameworks. Proven track record of building and managing risk and compliance frameworks in a regulated financial environment. Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
