Legal & General Resources Bermuda Ltd. is a Bermuda-based specialist life reinsurer providing life reinsurance solutions to clients in the UK, Europe, the US, and Canada. The role of Transactions Director supports the pricing, structuring and implementation of all new business written by L&G Re.Key accountabilities include:Responsible for the planning and execution of PRT and other asset intensive reinsurance transactions across all territories, supporting additional strategic business opportunities as required.Support the structuring, pricing and implementation of reinsurance contracts and products, including the development, review and enhancement of pricing systems and processes.Lead transaction teams, with direct and indirect people management responsibilities.Ensure new business aligns with financial, capital and risk objectives of L&G Re, L&G Institutional Retirement and the wider Group, including local regulatory considerations.Provide clear actuarial insight and reporting, producing high quality pricing and profitability MI and advising senior stakeholders and governance committees to support informed decision making.A key member of the client and market facing team, working collaboratively with internal partners to deliver a high quality client experience and effective end to end outcomes.Demonstrate leadership and professionalism, building strong internal and external relationships, developing others where applicable, and upholding regulatory, actuarial and cultural standards.Skills and Experienced required:Fully qualified Actuary.Minimum of seven years of experience in pricing annuity business and/or structuring reinsurance or similar transactions.Proven ability to balance technical rigor with pragmatism, incorporating risk assessment, commercial considerations and diverse stakeholder views to achieve business objectives.Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective professional relationships across all levels of an organisation, ideally within a global environment.Demonstrated independence and teamwork, able to work autonomously while contributing effectively within collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.High levels of organisation and delivery focus, with commercial awareness and a solid understanding of the economic, market and regulatory environment, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements
