Our client, Bermuda Resources, which oversees the Duty Free Shops at the L.F. Wade Airport, is seeking an experienced individual to join their team as Warehouse Manager. In this role, you will manage the daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management for multiple locations. Key responsibilities will include: • Developing and implementing warehouse workflows and best practices. • Supervising and training the storeroom team, fostering a culture of teamwork and efficiency. • Monitoring and managing stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. • Coordinating with retail store teams for timely and accurate stock replenishment. • Conducting regular cycle counts and coordinating full physical inventories. • Liaising with suppliers and logistics teams to manage stock deliveries and resolve discrepancies. • Receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming deliveries, ensuring all items meet quality and quantity standards. • Maintaining proper documentation and reporting related to safety, equipment, and inventory. • Overseeing warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners, ensuring proper maintenance, safety inspections, and timely repairs. Candidate Requirements: • Proven experience in warehouse and inventory management roles, preferably in multiple retail locations or an airport environment. Proven experience with team leadership and supervision. • Excellent communication and leadership skills to supervise and coordinate the team effectively. • Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer applications. • Knowledge of security procedures / customs requirements for movement of stock in secure zones. • Ability to lift and move stock as required (manual handling). • A valid Bermuda driving license; a forklift license, or willingness to obtain, would be preferred. • Airport security clearance will be required. The successful applicant must submit clear criminal checks and written employment/educational confirmation letters covering 5 years.
