The successful candidate will assist the Pathologist in performing autopsies; maintaining the morgue room and equipment in clean and orderly condition. Key Duties and Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and releasing bodies while ensuring adherence to prescribed procedures, liaising with the Pathologist, ensuring adequate cleaning of the morgue, maintaining equipment, logging checks on coolers, and assisting in post mortem examinations while ensuring dignity and care for the deceased.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Certificate/Diploma in Mortuary Technology and Hygiene from the Royal Institute of Public Health and Hygiene or similar qualification from USA/Canada; 3 years post qualification experience in a morgue assisting with autopsies.
