On behalf of our client, Il Palio Limited, we invite suitable candidates to apply for the position of Pastry Chef to assist in their new dockyard location. Primary duties include ensuring consistency in the preparation of all menu items according to company standards including preparing, cooking, and serving pastries, testing new recipes, and working under direct supervision of the Head Chef. Have full knowledge of all menu items and the ability to customize due to food allergies. Maintain proper rotation of product. Ensure cleanliness and routine maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment of a busy kitchen.

Requirements

A degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent paired with a minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen preferably within restaurants, hotels, cafes, etc. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Bermuda driver's license, be customer oriented, willing, and able to commit to overtime, weekends, and public holidays as needed and stand for long periods of time. Clean background check and excellent references required.
