Senior Accountant

International Managers Bermuda Ltd ("IMBL") provides accounting services to a significant number of diverse trust and company structures in Bermuda. IMBL is part of Moore Global Network, a leading accounting and advisory network. Key Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage the day to day integrity of clients' accounting ledgers along with financial books and records; Preparing and issuing financial statements in conformity with agreed and approved accounting standards, including preparation of supporting working paper files; Reviewing activities on investment portfolios and ensuring that transactions are properly documented and accounted; Monitoring of transaction advices to review for abnormalities; Assisting with the completion of forms, reports and documents required for the investment of trust / company assets; Reviewing the investment strategy of investment portfolios to ensure adherence to the investment policy guidelines; Communicate with financial institutions (e.g. banks, investment advisors) as well as other professional intermediaries; Providing administrative and technical support to Managers and Directors; Develop strong relationships with clients and other internal teams: Preparation of fee invoices for relationships; Preparation and/or review of other ad hoc financial reports, such as budgets, cashflows, investment appraisal, etc; Carry out all aspects of role in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and controls Minimum Qualifications and Experience An internationally recognized professional accounting designation (CA, ACCA, CGA or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience; A high degree of numeracy and analytical thinking; Proficient in Microsoft office suite and Quickbooks accounting package; The ability to work independently but with appropriate balance on when to seek guidance and escalate when required; Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as time management and the ability to prioritize demands; Ability to deliver exceptional client service.

Requirements

An internationally recognized professional accounting designation (CA, ACCA, CGA or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience; A high degree of numeracy and analytical thinking; Proficient in Microsoft office suite and Quickbooks accounting package; The ability to work independently but with appropriate balance on when to seek guidance and escalate when required; Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as time management and the ability to prioritize demands; Ability to deliver exceptional client service.
