Details Management Ltd., on behalf of our client, Hudson Structured Capital Management (HSCM) is seeking applications for the position of Senior Associate Insurance Investments to join their Bermuda-based investment team. HSCM is a leading alternative asset manager focused on private equity and private credit investments in the Re/Insurance, Transportation, and InsurTech sectors. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role focused on sourcing business, underwriting and structuring contracts and portfolio management of private equity and private credit transactions in asset-intensive life & annuity reinsurance and multi-line (re)insurance solutions. Responsibilities include: • Identify and execute proprietary investment opportunities in life & annuity reinsurance as well as broader (re)insurance markets • Build and maintain sophisticated Excel-based financial models including performance KPIs, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and insurance capital modeling Support transaction due diligence, structuring, commercial negotiation, and legal closing Prepare clear and concise investment committee memos and presentations Monitor existing investment portfolio performance Update financial models, track performance against underwriting assumptions Produce regular internal and external reports detailing portfolio performance Contribute to investor reporting and fundraising materials Professional/Technical Skills and Knowledge: Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics is required Qualified member of a professional actuarial society such as The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries is required. Minimum 3 years experience gained in the (re)insurance industry is required. Advanced MS Excel proficiency with extensive experience in insurance cash-flow models • Knowledge of private equity and private credit structures in the (re)insurance industry • Hands-on deal experience in life & annuity reinsurance, legacy/block transactions, or other asset-intensive insurance investments • Ability to understand and independently calculate and interpret performance KPIs, and Bermuda/other regulatory capital requirements Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills Familiarity with Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) regulatory and capital regime preferred Experience across a broad range of insurance capital structures (equity, surplus notes, sub-debt, sidecars, etc.) Programming skills an asset
