The incumbent will provide professional dispensing and patient advisory/counseling service for prescription and 'over the counter' (OTC) products working to the standards required by the Bermuda Pharmacy Council. Working under the direction of the Head Pharmacist, successful applicants will be responsible for: Dispensing prescription medicines, checking validity, interactions, and anomalies; Advising and counseling customers; Monitoring stock levels and rotation; Coordinating special orders; Administering billings to insurance companies; Managing the store in the absence of management; and maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
Requirements
A University Degree in Pharmacy obtained from an accredited educational establishment; A minimum of two years working experience in a retail pharmacy environment; Must be registered, or eligible to be registered, as a Pharmacist in Bermuda; Ability to work with minimum supervision; Must be able to work shifts and on weekends.
