We are seeking a Plastic Surgery Practice and Ambulatory Surgical Center Head Registered Nurse. The individual will be required to function across delivering non-surgical treatments (including Laser treatments) in a Plastic Surgery Practice as well as leading a team of nurses in performing in the areas of Pre-Op, Circulator, Scrub, IV Sedation and Recovery, which requires a full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye coordination, with corrected or normal vision and hearing to normal range. The position requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time and occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. May require working irregular hours within a 40-hour work week, to include late evenings, nights or weekends and will involve frequent exposure to communicable diseases, blood or body fluid, toxic substances, potentially ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a surgical operating room environment.

Requirements

10 years' work experience as a Registered Nurse in an Ambulatory Surgical Center or Hospital (functioning across the roles of circulating, scrub technician/ surgical assistant or assisting the anaesthetist as needed) and/ or the perioperative area (pre-operative assessment and the post-anesthesia care unit/ recovery room). Experience preceptoring nurses and leading staff training. Experience managing the stocking, ordering, acquisition and tracking of inventory for an Ambulatory Surgical Center. A minimum of one year experience delivering Laser treatments (e.g with a Sciton Joule X Platform) independently.
