Our client, Group Ark Insurance Limited, a Class 4 re/insurance company, is seeking an experienced Actuary to support its Bermuda reinsurance platform. This is a hands-on technical role where the successful candidate will be expected to work directly with data, models, dashboards, reporting packs, documentation, and production deliverables. The role requires strong reinsurance experience, attention to detail, focus on governance and the ability to deliver accurate work under tight deadlines. Duties include Reserving & Reporting, Pricing & Actuarial Analytics, and Portfolio Risk & Reporting.
Requirements
Qualified actuary with at least 10+ years' relevant reinsurance experience. Experience in reserving, pricing, exposure management, and reporting are a must. Strong knowledge of property, marine, energy, casualty, specialty, and financial reinsurance. Strong technical capability in Excel, Python, SQL, Power BI, and actuarial modelling. Experience in implementing and improving actuarial data pipelines, dashboards, models, reporting tools, and controlled workflows. Able to produce accurate, well-documented analysis under pressure and with limited tolerance for error. Comfortable working outside normal office hours particularly during reserving cycles, renewal seasons, audits, planning periods, and regulatory deadlines.
