Our client is seeking an Operable Wall Technician to be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of operable (movable) wall systems. Duties include: assembling and installing operable wall systems to specification, inspecting systems to identify wear/damage/faults, repairing/replacing components including panels, tracks, and locking mechanisms, adjusting and maintaining systems for proper operation, diagnosing mechanical issues, reading technical drawings, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining service records.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience as an operable wall technician or in a similar mechanical installation and maintenance role. Mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Ability to work at heights and safely handle equipment where required.
