Finance Manager - Revenue Management

As part of our Bermuda Finance Team, this position is responsible for providing innovative solutions to improve the management, engagement in and performance of the revenue lifecycle, including partnership with the global finance team in developing best practice standards to improve office-wide working capital. What Will You Do : : Subject matter expert for working capital, including developing best practices and implementing key global policies and deliverables. Oversight of Bermuda cash collection, ensuring all collections activities are conducted to a defined timetable and communicated to all invested parties. Lead and manage all billing functions for Bermuda in accordance with established policies. Collaborate cross functionally with heads of legal and client service departments to ensure disputes and queries are resolved as quickly as possible. Liaise directly with clients, directors, associates, managers, and firm personnel to optimise processes and resolve issues affecting revenue and cash generation. Oversight and management of firm's E-billing function, collaborate directly with client contacts to ensure smooth processing and prompt payment of E-billing client invoices. Oversee client onboarding/offboarding ensuring timely and accurate data input and updates. Provide strong leadership across a multi-tiered team, effectively managing both assistant managers and a group of administrative professionals. Demonstrate excellence in organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making to ensure cohesive performance and operational success. Understand the firm's client base, identify and report potential payment issues ahead of critical time. Proactively analyse and research client exposure positions, reviewing exception areas to determine communication and strategy to facilitate payment Implement, calculate, and monitor global key performance statistics, including but not limited to, working capital lock-up, provision of Bermuda attorney performance dashboards and commentary, collection activity, and cash inflow analysis. Manage annual legal fee income budget preparation and reforecast of budget in tandem with legal department heads. Review and prepare monthly variance analysis and commentary for actuals versus budget. Primary liaison with external auditors for Revenue and Receivable cycles. Manage ARCS collections software, implement processes, and act as primary contact point for global query resolution and training. Assist on various firm projects, within and beyond Revenue management responsibilities. What You'll Need : : Qualified accountant, ACCA, CA, CIMA or equivalent with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience. Prior demonstrated experience in leading, managing and developing a team required. Solid experience and understanding of working capital principles, operations and reporting within a legal and/or professional services environment Strong client service/ stakeholders' management experience Demonstrated use of initiative when problem-solving, including providing innovative solutions to issues and their anticipated responses. Previous experience within a partnership/fee earning environment. Experience of E-billing systems & online client procurement platforms. Prior experience with 3E, ARCs software Experience with Viewpoint considered an asset. Experience with firm-wide system implementation and change management. Willingness to work additional hours and weekends.
