Accounts Assistant

Reporting to the Financial Controller and Vice President, Finance Health, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function. You will also assist with the preparation of monthly accounts through general accounting duties, including, but not limited to, performing reconciliations, updating schedules from banking and system sources, processing claims payments and bank transfers, assisting with audit and other administrative accounting duties. Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Process supplier invoices and claim payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct coding and authorisation Prepare bank reconciliations Manage the payables' mailbox, including responding to queries, ensuring timely processing of invoices and redirection of non-payable queries to relevant team Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal team members to research and resolve queries timely Post journal entries relating to the accounts payable function Assist with month-end close activities Participate in business process improvements Assist with year-end audit by providing support for any accounts payable related queries Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts receivable/accounts payable Excellent communication, organisation, analytical skills and strong attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Problem-solving mindset Proven ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency in MS Excel and Word Experience with Sage (or similar accounting systems) is beneficial We value our employees and offer a supportive and inclusive work environment.
