Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for keeping and maintaining the interior and exterior of the Bermuda Land Management Corporation's facilities in the West End. Duties include painting, basic plumbing repairs, masonry, paving, tiling, mechanical & carpentry repair, preparing potable water test samples, cleaning water tanks, working on sewage treatment plants, and operating basic mechanical equipment.
Requirements
Post holder must possess a BSSC or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The post holder must have a technical or trade certification issued by an accredited institute. Minimum of three (3) years of work experience post-qualification. Demonstrated experience in performing duties in the trades. Must be highly organized, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Successful applicant will be drug tested before employment commences.
