The Sheet Metal Foreperson is the first line of supervision over sheet metal work at Bermuda Air Conditioning Ltd. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating a field crew of 15+ journeymen and apprentices engaged in the fabrication and installation of sheet metal products and equipment, while working with designers, engineers, fabricators, and machinists to complete projects. The ideal candidate will manage projects worth up to 4 million dollars.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in the Sheet Metal Trade, including at least 5 years as a journeyperson and 4 years as a foreperson; Equivalent progression through a recognized sheet metal apprenticeship and journeyperson experience; Demonstrated ability in tack welding, light brazing, and metal soldering; Experience in layout, fabrication, and installation of sheet metal parts; Working knowledge of sheet metal and structural steel fabrication equipment; Basic computer skills.
