Atlantic Podiatry is looking to expand its practice. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Registered Podiatrist to join our team. Applicants must have a relevant recognized degree in Podiatry, minimum 3-5 years relevant post graduate experience, with expertise in wound care being essential. Must have clinical community/outpatient experience, including the ability to manage widely varied caseload including Diabetes, Geriatrics, Sports Injuries, Pediatrics, Lower Limb Pathologies and general foot care. Experience in both hospital and private practice settings, including in treating patients in house call and care home settings is important. Experience in aesthetics, dermal fillers, botox and ultrasound guided steroid injections would be preferred, but the practice is willing to assist in skills training. Must be self-motivated, and able to work both autonomously and within a team and to the highest standard. Must have excellent organizational, time management and communication skills. Requires familiarity with EMRs, excellent documentation skills, and timely reporting. Must have or be willing to obtain a Bermuda driver’s license. Role requires some flexibility of working hours over a 35-hour working week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high quality Podiatry care to Bermuda's population, be highly skilled in wound care and diabetic management, be well organised and punctual.

Requirements

Must be a Registered Podiatrist. BSc Podiatry Degree from an internationally-recognised university. Requires a minimum of 3-5 years post graduate experience. Registered with the Bermuda Council for Allied Health Professionals, or eligibility to register, and be registered with the appropriate, recognised regulatory body/health council in their current practicing jurisdiction. Experience in hospital and community/private practice settings including the ability to manage widely varied caseload including Diabetes, Geriatrics, Sports Injuries, Pediatrics, Lower Limb Pathologies and general foot care. Experience managing high risk patients, diabetes, and wound care patients is essential. Experience in both hospital and private practice settings, including in treating patients in house call and care home settings. Familiarity with electronic medical records. Must have, or be willing to obtain, a Bermuda drivers license.
