Our Client, Hamilton Medical Centre Ltd., invites applications for the position of Medical Laboratory Technologist. Responsibilities: • Work in and manage a small private Medical Lab servicing diagnostic blood tests ordered by GPs and Medical/Surgical specialists. • Must have experience in and be versatile enough to perform basic hematological, biochemical, microbiological and urological analyses (microscopy where relevant) on blood and other body fluids. • Manage the lab at an administrative level. Minimum Qualification & Experience: • Must have a recognized and respected four (4) year qualification as a Medical Lab Tech. • Must possess at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position. • Must have experience in securing COLA or equivalent accreditation. • Computer literate, able to "troubleshoot" diagnostic equipment and have experience with the Vitros and Beckmann Coulter hematology analyzers. Phlebotomy proficiency is necessary.
