We seek qualified, highly motivated, and experienced pr The incumbent is responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering programmes of therapy following referral from the consultant, with the goal of facilitating the resumption of the clients' The incumbent is responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering programmes of therapy following referral from the consultant, with the goal of facilitating the resumption of the clients' former life roles in a full or altered capacity. Responsibilities include: Performing an appropriate assessment on all in and/or out patients following referrals using objective clinical measures to identify problems, and formulate treatment plans based on realistic stated goals. Carrying out specific therapeutic interventions as indicated Providing supervision and delegation of specific written treatment plans to aides, assistants, and/or students Observing and evaluating treatment effects and communicates patient progress or lack thereof to appropriate staff and physicians Maintaining patient documentation using the appropriate paper work. Preparing specific clinical reports as requested Qualifications &/ Registration required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required with certification, if applicable, in jurisdiction of training 1-2 years post graduate experience in a related Physiotherapy environment, preferably within a hospital Local registration to practice with the Council for Allied Health Professions (CAHP) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; liaison with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
