Appleby (Bermuda) Limited, a leading offshore law firm, provides legal advice and services to many leading global organisations. Are you a current Bermuda law student pursuing an undergraduate or post-graduate law degree and interested in gaining meaningful internship experience at Bermuda's leading law firm? We are currently accepting applications for our Summer Internship Programme which will take place 17 June - 14 August. The 2026 programme is designed for students to rotate every two weeks to ensure learning across multiple sectors and specialisms. Interns will work alongside our world-class team of lawyers in the Corporate, Insurance and Dispute Resolution departments. Tasks will include, but are not limited to: PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform complicated legal work under the supervision of an attorney Research and write memoranda Perform administrative duties such as filing Assist with preparation for trials, hearings and client meetings Attend trials, hearings and client meetings Research legislative histories Prepare and organize files and binders KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must have completed second year of a recognized law degree or equivalent Experience in a law firm will be considered an asset Must possess strong research, writing and analytical skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Attention to detail and strong time management skills required Applicants will be required to write a short personal statement of 250-500 words explaining why they should be considered for the Appleby (Bermuda) Limited Summer Internship Programme.
