Bermuda Red Cross is hiring a Bermuda Red Cross is a volunteer-led organization that promotes humanitarian values within our community. This front-line, service-based role that is far more than transactional. This position is a critical support system for individuals and families navigating physical rehabilitation, acute medical challenges, and caregiving responsibilities.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the non-profit sector, healthcare services, or a role requiring emotional intelligence and community sensitivity.
Experience managing or supporting volunteers is an asset.
- Organized, systematic, and detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping and time management skills.
Proficiency in MacOS, Microsoft Office Suite, Bloomerang, and a willingness to learn and implement new technologies that improve productivity.
Proven ability to work with a wide range of people, including those who are emotionally vulnerable or in crisis.
Effective communication skills-verbal, written, and interpersonal with the ability to remain calm and take control during high-pressure situations.
Capacity to manage simultaneous tasks and clients with professionalism and care.
Demonstrated commitment to the values and Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross.
Valid driver's license (use of Red Cross van for pickups/drop-offs as needed).
