The Edgewood Pediatric Services team is seeking a friendly, organized, dependable and customer-focused Medical Office Receptionist to join our busy and growing pediatric medical practice. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service, supporting clinical staff, and helping ensure efficient front office operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Passionate in helping people; friendly and patient-focused approach to service • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional manner • Proficient computer skills, ability to navigate technology and communicate in written form • 1–2 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred; customer service experience in any setting is highly valued • High school diploma preferred • Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is preferred • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and as part of a team • Professional, calm and polite behavior, especially in high-pressure or sensitive situations • Collaborative and proactive team player with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
