Senior Medical Technologist/ Quality Assurance Specialist

Hope Healthcare laboratory is looking for 1 full time Senior Medical Technologist/ Quality Assurance Specialist. The ideal candidate should be able to operate in a moderately complex laboratory which has a testing menu that includes hematology, chemistry, and immunochemistry. A strong background in Quality Assurance and Quality Control. A Bachelor degree in Medical Technology or a lab related field is required. As well as, Board Certification from a recognized certifying body and Licensure in Bermuda. This is a full time position with operating hours between Monday to Friday 7:30am until 5:15pm. The following are preferred: 7 years' experience working as a Medical Technologist At least 3 years previous experience overseeing QA/QC Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated knowledge of LIS & EMR systems Proficient in phlebotomy

Requirements

A Bachelor degree in Medical Technology or a lab related field is required. As well as, Board Certification from a recognized certifying body and Licensure in Bermuda.
