Ultrasound Technologist /Sonographer

Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre is seeking applicants for the role of Ultrasound Technologist /Sonographer. The successful applicant must be certified and skilled in breast ultrasound and breast biopsy examinations. They will be responsible for acquiring the best possible images while maintaining the highest standard of patient care. The applicant must be highly motivated and confident to provide oversight of the ultrasound service.

Requirements

Job Requirements: • A Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related healthcare field is desirable • Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent body in the specialty as appropriate • At least three years of experience performing breast examinations • Eligible for registration with the Bermuda Allied Health Council Skills and Abilities: • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills • Able to work efficiently • Strong computer competencies
