The Facilities & Grounds Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance, cleanliness, and appearance of Company facilities, warehouse locations, yards, and surrounding grounds. The role supports a safe, clean, and well-maintained working environment through preventative maintenance, landscaping, general repairs, and operational support services. Key responsibilities include grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, general building repairs (walls, doors, gates, fencing), masonry, painting, office furniture upkeep, crate building, and forklift operation.

Requirements

Minimum of 5-7 years experience in landscaping, facilities maintenance, or general maintenance work. Basic knowledge of building repairs, painting, and maintenance activities. Forklift operating experience preferred. Physically capable of manual labour and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Minimum Intermediate Bermuda Driver's License required. Must be willing and able to obtain a Bermuda Heavy Truck Driver's License and a Seaport/Dock Pass.
