Somersfield Academy, an International Baccalaureate World School, is seeking faculty to deliver the IB Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma Programmes (DP) starting for the 2026-27 academic school year for Language Acquisition Teacher positions in French (80%) and Spanish (20%). Key responsibilities include developing and teaching IB subject lessons, fostering language acquisition appreciation, preparing students for IB coursework/exams, and collaborating with colleagues.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant subject(s); B. Ed. or PGCE in Education; Teaching license from the Bermuda Educators Council (BEC) or qualified to be licensed; Minimum of 3 years teaching experience; Knowledge and/or experience in teaching IB MYP/DP Language Acquisition courses.
