Works under the direction of Serenity Gardens Limited’s Nurse Manager to provide skilled professional nursing care to all clients as prescribed. Job role encompasses the management of client care via the implementation of the nursing process while maintaining continuity of care in a safe, secure and healthy environment. This post includes supervision of all certified, licensed and subordinate personnel. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Reports directly to the Nurse Manager and or Acting Nurse Manager. Performs all Registered Nursing duties in accordance with the current Job Description. Evaluates client’s health conditions and reports to the Medical Consultant. Provides a clean, healthy, safe and secure environment.
Requirements
RN graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN). Current BLS/CPR + AED Provider required. Current Bermuda Nursing and Midwifery Council License required. Dementia Care, Wound Care, Infection Control and Prevention Certifications required. Minimum five (5) years of relevant work (RN) experience required. Minimum one (1) year of experience directly related to Geriatric Nursing. Minimum one (1) year of Nursing Supervisory experience required. Ability to follow directive given by the Nurse Manager. Ability to act and assume relief responsibilities. High-Level critical thinking and physical strength required. Strong interpersonal communication skills and empathy required. Basic computer skills.
