Room40 Bermuda LLC is an investment manager headquartered in Bermuda and focused on liquid strategies in the digital asset space. Reporting to the firm's Chief Investment Officer, Room40 is seeking a Portfolio Manager to join their team. The suitable candidate must have: • 7+ years of relevant experience in portfolio management, trading, or quantitative investment roles, preferably in digital assets or derivatives. • Proven ability to design, manage, and optimize multi-strategy portfolios, including spot, futures, options, and structured yield strategies. • Deep understanding of yield curves, spread trading, and cross-market relative value, and how these are applied at the portfolio level. Strong expertise in risk management, including position sizing, leverage, drawdown control, stress testing, and performance attribution across varying market regimes. • Ability to oversee execution and inventory management, ensuring efficient capital deployment and coordination across exchanges and venues. • Comprehensive knowledge of exchange mechanics, including fee structures, funding rates, margining, liquidation processes, and counterparty risk. • Experience overseeing algorithmic and systematic trading strategies, including setting objectives, evaluating performance, and refining models in collaboration with traders and quantitative teams. • Demonstrated capability to generate new investment ideas, assess alpha sources, and translate research into scalable portfolio strategies. • Strong understanding of macroeconomics and global markets, and how macro forces influence Bitcoin, Ethereum, and broader digital asset markets • Experience using data, analytics, and performance reporting to monitor portfolios, evaluate risk, and support investment decisions. • Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with traders, analysts, and quantitative teams, fostering a disciplined, research-driven investment culture.
