Conyers Trust Services (Bermuda) Limited ("Conyers Trust Services") is an international network of licensed trust companies that undertakes a broad range of trust and company administration services for private clients, corporations and charitable entities. Conyers Trust Services has its headquarters in Bermuda and has affiliate offices in British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands. The Operations and Regulatory Compliance Analyst role is varied and wide ranging, with primary responsibility for the Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Anti Money Laundering/Anti-Financing Terrorism and Sanctions (AML) operational controls relative to Trust Services. Additional responsibilities include testing the effectiveness of policies and procedures related to CDD & AML controls; and contributing to the compliance and ongoing monitoring program (OMP). What Will You Do Collect and input client data (new and updated) to support trust services and meet regulatory requirements. Process new account setups, modify existing accounts, transfers of ownership and/or payments through data entry for clients, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of all work. Carryout the activities within the On-Going Monitoring Program ("OMP"). The OMP includes periodic review schedule, trigger events, transaction monitoring, investment reviews, and management of outstanding action points. Proactively and continuously demonstrate commitment to client records and data management through accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency of all data input, validating data sources to ensure users may have full reliance. Assist with preparation of client and business presentations, business reports, maintaining all business records, meeting materials, team projects, and general office functions to maintain continuity for internal and external clients. Assist with guidance and advice to Trust Services on CDD for new and existing clients, and general AML risks across the book of business. Assist with the Regulatory Impact Analysis framework and working alongside Trust Services to implement as necessary new or revised procedures that will affect business operations. Assist with the vetting of new business applications to ensure adherence to policies and procedures and contribute to the adherence of new business acceptance standards. Assist with conducting CDD to include Client Risk Assessments, Client Transaction Risk Profiles, implement controls to manage against established risks. Participate in client due diligence related project work, such as investigating, testing, and implementing systems and controls. Contribute to the training and development of employees in relation to internal and or regulatory requirements, controls, and international best practice standards. Support Quality Assurance, Compliance Testing Programme, Audit Testing, and regulatory on-site visits as required. Assist and support other team members as required. Compliance Understand and comply with standard departmental practices of compliance management, regulatory requirements, general policies, and sufficiency of documentation. What You'll Need An undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. At least 1-3 years of related experience working in a law firm or other professional service firm. A desire to undertake the CAMS or ICA course(s) to gain such qualification will be facilitated. Working knowledge of Trust Services operations and administration is an asset. Familiar with AML regulatory regimes in Bermuda. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality of client information. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong external and internal working relationships. Experience working within a multi-function team is preferred but not essential. Excellent organization and planning skills, be methodical, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to deliver on tight timescales. Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Requirements

An undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. At least 1-3 years of related experience working in a law firm or other professional service firm. A desire to undertake the CAMS or ICA course(s) to gain such qualification will be facilitated. Working knowledge of Trust Services operations and administration is an asset. Familiar with AML regulatory regimes in Bermuda. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality of client information. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong external and internal working relationships. Experience working within a multi-function team is preferred but not essential. Excellent organization and planning skills, be methodical, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to deliver on tight timescales. Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
