Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will oversee monthly financial reporting, account reconciliations, regulatory filings, and year end audit coordination. You will support internal controls, cash management, budgeting, and process improvements while working closely with the Vice President on departmental procedures and key initiatives. Other duties include supervising and coaching junior staff and contributing to special projects as well as project work across the Coralisle Group of Companies as required. Prepare monthly financial statements Ensure all balance sheet and income statement accounts are reconciled monthly Identify issues and manage corrective actions Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of accounting processes and internal controls, working closely with team members to identify best practices and ensure compliance with existing and new system procedures Work with the Vice President in the preparation and review of the Finance Department's procedural manuals Prepare year-end working papers for audit Manage and report all regulatory filings, and coordinate and assist with the annual external audit Support cash management activities to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations Assist with annual budget preparation Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff Assist the Vice President in major areas of control and management, as required Undertake other duties and project work as requested by the Vice President

Requirements

Must possess a professional Accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) University degree with a major in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years' experience preparing financial statements Strong knowledge of accounting principles at an intermediate or higher level Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, preferably at an intermediate user level Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred Sage Intacct and Workiva knowledge would be an asset
